2nd Ave Sports - downtown durango

When 2nd Ave Sports decided to go big with their new building, Shaw Solar was one of their first phone calls. We had a lot of fun designing their custom array and are proud to have secured a USDA Federal Grant for them that knocked 25% off their cost of going solar. 2nd Ave Sports now has a 33 kW solar array (105 solar panels) and a beautiful new building.

If anyone needs a new bike, go see Gary. He'll give you a smoking deal!

Battery Storage at the Burns Residence

Steve and Mitch Burns went solar with us in 2018 and opted for the battery storage add-on. The Burns' are pioneers and we are happy to have had the pleasure of designing this system for them. The 14 solar panels on their garage roof produce enough energy to power their entire home and then some, and the battery stores the excess generation for later use. Having a battery isn't necessary, but it does ensure you get to use every drop of the energy your solar system produces.

Mountain Middle School

Mountain Middle School turned to Shaw Solar when it came time to renovate their beautiful high-tech campus. In turn, we installed 51.66 kW of solar (164 solar panels) using an innovative lease structure that allows them to immediately enjoy the significant energy cost savings of solar with no out of pocket cost. Thanks for everything, Mountain Middle. It was awesome working with you!
